Your Privacy Matters

Decision Limbo ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by Marshland Software LLC. We built the Decision Limbo mobile application (the "App") to be simple, private, and fun to use. This Privacy Policy explains what information is (and is not) collected when you use the App, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Data We Collect

The App is designed to work entirely on your device. We collect very limited information:

  • Local App Data: Decisions, preferences, and usage information are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
  • Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers such as the advertising ID to support advertising, in accordance with your device’s privacy settings.

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate the App on your device
  • To display advertisements that help keep the App free
  • To comply with applicable legal requirements

Advertising & Tracking Choices

The App uses Google AdMob for advertising. If you allow tracking on your device, ads may be personalized. If you choose not to allow tracking, you may still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.

You can control ad tracking at any time through your device settings, such as iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Storage & Deletion

All app data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate backend servers that store your personal data.

You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.

Security

We do not transmit your app data to our servers, which reduces privacy risk by design. Your data is stored locally on your device, and its protection depends on your device security settings (such as a passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and keeping your operating system up to date).

Your Rights & Choices

  • Delete Your Data: Removing the App deletes all locally stored data.
  • Ad Preferences: You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.

California & International Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident or located in certain other regions, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access or delete your data.

Because Decision Limbo does not store personal data on our servers, most of these rights are automatically fulfilled by design.

Third-Party Services

The App may display ads or links provided by third-party partners such as Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
